Question

Hi everyone

We have a few pre-sales question before we use WHMCS as a replacement to what we use now.

1. when using paypal a client orders, does it auto take payment each month or does the client have to login / click invoice and pay?

Now if the script will auto take from client on due date does is auto update WHMCS admin area?

2. Say client payment fails ( paypal ) I know the script can auto suspend but if client logs in and pays does it auto unsuspend?

Thats our big question for now, more will come I think....

Hi,

In answer to your questions:

1. Yes, PayPal subscriptions are supported to take payments automatically each month from clients. Subscriptions will also be tracked by WHMCS and invoices marked paid when the payments occur automatically.

2. Yes again, when the client logs in and pays an overdue invoice, if the account it's for is suspended it will be automatically reactivated.

Thanks matt

Another question say there payment fails for some reason, now I think it 3 days they (paypal) try again to collect the fund, does the script update the due date or does it try again nect month on the same date...

What I trying to see is if we had the auto suspend on and a client did that say 2 times in a row it would move the paypal date up a few days leaving WHMCS back a few days and will suspend there site.

also if paypal goes down say 1 day during this WHMCS payment, does it retry later or would we have to update and mark them as paid by hand..
