WHMCS INTEGRATION HOW TO

=========================================

1) Open integrate/whmcs/modules/support/kayako/integrate.php and change the following line to full absolute path to your Product Installation (SupportSuite/eSupport)

define("SWIFTPATH", "/home/path/to/support/");

Examples:

define("SWIFTPATH", "/home/company/public_html/support/");

2) Copy modules directory of package to root directory of your WHMCS Installation

3) Copy the templates directory of package to root directory of your WHMCS Installation

4) In WHMCS admin, navigate to General Configuration > Support and choose Kayako in the Support Module dropdown.

5) Thats it! Your WHMCS Client Area is now replaced with the SupportSuite/eSupport Frontend

Make sure that its uploaded in Binary MODE not ASCII MODE (causes corruption)

This is the most likely source of your error.

I also had this error, and I had to upload the entire *.tar.gz file by binary to the server and decompress it from there. My FTP client didn't want to transfer each individual file in binary, so that might be the same issue you're having.

Man, go with the latest 3.11.02 (CVS) and subscribe or keep a lookout at the whmc thread in kayako forum. If there is a bug someone will catch it and provide a fix.

3.11.02 (CVS) works great with our WHMCS 3.6.0 and it will go stable within a week or 2.

-------------------------------------

Always read instructions first.
