Now that WHMCS 9.0 has entered General Availability, we wanted to share a bit more context around how we're approaching this release and what you can expect from us over the coming weeks.

As usual in our case, compatibility testing started well ahead of the GA release. Several of our most widely used modules are already confirmed as compatible with WHMCS 9.0, including solutions like cPanel Extended For WHMCS and Proxmox VE VPS & Cloud For WHMCS. More updates are actively in progress, and compatibility confirmations will continue to roll out as testing is completed.

At the same time, we know that a major release like this naturally brings questions. To bring all the most helpful information together in one place, we've published a detailed Blog post where we explain:

  • How we handle WHMCS 9.0 compatibility testing,

  • How and where we communicate confirmed compatibility,

  • What the update process looks like once a module is ready,

  • And what to keep in mind if you’re running custom modules.

If you’re planning an upgrade or simply want a clearer picture of what's happening around WHMCS 9.0, we hope this provides some helpful guidance:
