9thnode
I am still having issues with this problem located at this thread: http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=9079 However, the thread has been locked now. I have no customization to any of the templates so far in development for my site. When I upgraded to 3.60 I did a full upload and overwrote all files. The only files I replaced were simple img files. The changlog included with 3.60 does not reference any changes made to the TPL file in question here (clientareachangepw.tpl) Could someone lend some advice? Thanks
9thnode
I have also just re-uploaded the entire Templates folder (including default, orderforms, & portal) and still no luck.
9thnode
Bumped - Still unable to change passwords, and I've re-uploaded the entire template folder several times.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted February 21, 2008 WHMCS CEO Share Posted February 21, 2008 The changlog included with 3.60 does not reference any changes made to the TPL file in question here (clientareachangepw.tpl) Below is a quote from the V3.6 changelog: Added existing password check when requesting a password change in the client area - clientarea.php - templates/default/clientareachangepw.tpl - templates/portal/clientareachangepw.tpl - lang/English.txt So as you can see this was listed as a changed file. If you've updated it and it's still not working, then you'll need to open a ticket for us to take a look. Matt
9thnode
Thank you for your quick reply Matt, I see where my issue was in the changelog. The quoted text you pasted Matt is listed under the 3.6 Beta section of the changelog - NOT the stable section at the top. I did not make it that far in the Changelog given I was not installing the BETA version. I have just replaced the following files from the "whmcs_v360.zip" file: clientarea.php templates/default/clientareachangepw.tpl templates/portal/clientareachangepw.tpl lang/English.txt And I am still receiving "# Your existing password was not correct #" when attempting to change a password. I will submit a ticket. Thanks
