polyglot2
whmcs 3.5.1, using order.php (due to cart.php still not working in our setup). free domain is offered for billing cycle of annually and biannually. if the client selects registration period of 5 years, then selects hosting billing cycle of 2 years, then the generated invoice will say the domain is free (0 USD) but for 1 year only. this is actually what we wanted (e.g. free domain is for 1st year only, for the 2nd year and so on he will be charged for domain). but in the invoice whmcs doesn't charge domain registration for the rest of the period (4 years). the order doesn't record this information either. it says 1 year in the admin area. WHMCS CEO Matt Posted February 15, 2008 WHMCS CEO Share Posted February 15, 2008 That is absolutely correct. You don't want to be giving your client a domain that is free for as long as they want - just 1 year at a time. The domain remains free whilever the package remains active so it won't let the customer pay for any extra years. Matt
