pacwebhosting
Hi, We are having a few problems with .co.uk from ENOM Basically WHMCS sees a response from ENOM saying reg ok but in the ENOM reports view orders it shows as status "Invalid Domain Contacts" and does not register. Can anyone else confirm if they have registered a .co.uk recently which has gone through fine? and if so does it have a company name field in WHMCS? Thanks for your time Paul
simplybe
Not had the same problem you are having. but uk renewals, name server changes and registrations just seem to sit there. I have been trying to update the name servers on one domain for 3 days : error 547 new registrations show domain not found in enom but whois shows they are registered. uk renewals not been proccessed at all, order just sat there for 24 hours. Zero support from enom, they seem to be ignoring tickets now. "Invalid Domain Contacts" The error you see is also a problem with awbs, the enom api says registration was ok but then it later fails, you will usually find there is a mistake in the contact details. Best thing to do is register it manually through enom. I told enom about this a year ago.
chickendippers
We haven't had a problem, but haven't had a new .uk registration since we upgraded to 3.6.0 so can't say for sure.

simplybe
Enom have admitted they were experiencing problems with nominet, I just got off the phone and they say it is now resolved but there is a back log of domains waiting to be processed. I have had new registrations go through today but yesterdays renewals etc.. are still sat there. I asked enom to cancel the orders so that i could submit them again but they say they can't. It wouldn't be such a problem if enom didn't point the expired domains to their advertising sites so quickly. There is no problem with whmcs, the problem is with enom

Rob K
Loads of problems - been over a week now. The problem, so I am told, is between eNom and Nominet and is causing me loads of problems. Now trying to get my Nominet module working and gonna move all my UK domains into my Nominet account - once I work out how to setup the PGP bit.

Can anyone else confirm if they have registered a .co.uk recently which has gone through fine? and if so does it have a company name field in WHMCS? Thanks for your time Paul I have contacted ENOM and the problem could be that : If "organization" has information in registrant fields, you cannot select "individual" or "citizen" in legal type of registrant. And vice versa. This will result in Invalid Domain Contacts WHMCS sends all details for a registration. I have opened a support ticket to see if it is possible to NOT send company (organisation) for .uk domains where they are set for individual. Regards, CD for Uggle Internet Hi, Yes I have had similar experiences around it (I think) also wanting the job title/role field when a company name is required which is logical as when you register manually at Enom it requires that field. WHMCS does not capture this field. let us know how you get on Thanks Paul
uggle
Hi, Matt supplied me with a new enom module that supplies a default job title (director). After this I still had some problems, which were due to a problem with some file(s) within the admin area that were not retrieving the registrant name that was entered. (not sure if this was the initial problem or not), so when a domain registration was accepted, not all information was being sent. Replacing the files sorted this problem. I sent ENOM a copy of the data sent to get them to check it out, and said that the format output from WHMCS was correct (however they did say that perhaps the phone number should be in the format of +44012345678, though I have never had any problem of this nature with other ENOM API's). We had no problem registering a .co.uk name (individual) with enom after the changes. NOTE: we are yet to go live with the WHMCS system, so cannot comment on different variables (individual, plc etc.) or volumes. Any problems, open a support ticket with Matt (I've had more than my fair share of support from him already!..... Cheers for everything so far Matt). pacwebhosting
Hi Still an issue for us. I have tried the enom module with the director field but that fails also. Is there anyone here using enom and has had a .co.uk fail with "Invalid Domain Contacts" (on the enom "reports/orders" despite enom API reporting back to WHMCS that the order was successful? Also is there anyone here who has no problems with .co.uk registrations? through enom? Basically every one of our .co.uk's are failing and having to be registered manually. Richie
ENOM and .co.uk names are still a problem... Everything has been fine up till 2 weeks ago when this started happening to us, so I get on the phone to enom (again) and they denied having any problems at their end... They told us to open a ticket with them, so we did, and 9 days later, after taking 24hours to reply to each ticket response, they closed our ticket saying it was our fault and not theirs.... We have been trying to register domain names directly on their web site too, providing all the proper information, yet the registrations still fail and enom say its the info we are providing! The wierd thing is, nothing has changed our end, no upgrades, no server changes, yet no matter what we try, the .co.uk names fail to register with "invalid contacts" We have managed to register the names occassionally on enoms web site, but its very "hit and miss" Anybody else having these problems in the last 2 weeks?
HostingBegins
Hi I found the problem. Hope it works for others.

Nope, sadly that didnt work for us either, it turned out to be a fault at ENOM because regardless of what we tried at the time, absolutely nothing would register at all (.co.uk names only), then all of a sudden one day it all started working again, this lasted for a few weeks too...
