Error with Wildcard SSL and WHM cPanel

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have a WHM server, IP 1.2.3.4, hostname sv1.mydomain.com, with a SSL cert for sv1.mydomain.com. Everything work fine with this cert.

When i use own SSL cert for sv1.mydomain.com, when i click "Login to cPanel" button ( picture w02.png ) it redirect to https://sv1.mydomain.com:2083.

Today, i instal Wildcard SSL for my hostname ( *.mydomain.com ) ( picture w01.png ) and then i have problem.

When i click "Login to cPanel" button ( picture w02.png ), instead of redirect to https://sv1.mydomain.com:2083, it's redirect to https://1.2.3.4:2083, so the browser show warning about SSL ( picture w03.png & w04.png ).

I don't know why this happen.

When i use own SSL cert for sv1.mydomain.com, it redirect to https://sv1.mydomain.com:2083.

But when i install Wildcard SSL for WHM, it redirect to https://1.2.3.4:2083.

How can i force it to redirect to https://sv1.mydomain.com:2083 ?

Please help me.

Thank you.
