Is there any way to create a 'package'? This would be basically a bunch of products grouped together that when combined have a special discount.

I quite like this idea, and AFAIK it isn't available in WHMCS. A package deal like 'Buy this and this and save £10' or something? It's a good idea.

At the moment, no. You could do it with a bunch of products and a coupon, or an additional discount product or addon which had a negative price.

 

Why a negative priced product? The coupon has to apply to a single product AFAIK, so if the coupon discount was greater than the largest price you'd have a negatively priced product on the invoice which would look odd. A negatively priced product would look less odd!

 

Having this built into WHMCS would be nice, I've also wanted this in the past although we've gotten around it by having a single product which encompasses the others. The fact that it includes the others is not reflected or visible in WHMCS in any way, which isn't ideal, but we can make it work for now.

this is why there are product descriptions, in that field you enter the products that are part of that package inc links and all, makes sense really
