Open the template header.tpl.

Locate:

{if $pageicon}

Paste above:

 {if $SCRIPT_NAME eq "/index.php"}
<img src="path/to/homepage.gif" align="right" alt="Page icon" />
 {/if}

Notes:

  • Replace "path/to/homepage.gif" with the path & name of the desired image file.
  • Find the proper value of $SCRIPT_NAME by adding {debug} to your homepage.tpl.

You're welcome, Zorro. Your site is looking great.

Cheers,

Rick

Rick, sorry I missed your reply.Thanks for the comments; I do appreciate the sentiment.

Still have a lot of work to getting it how I want to look, but I guess that is the developer's lament. - a bit like the house painter who is too busy to finish his own home. ;)

Only disappointing point is that people don't give feedback one or the other for Showcases, tips or questions of support, post the eventual solutions on answers to their questions or sometimes even just say thanks (Hint, Hint to all you newbies)

Yes, I'd enjoy a greater sense of community here in the forums, though I think that many members don't want to share with the "competition," which I find a silly notion anyway. The odds of us vying for the same customer is more than a bit remote, lol.

How true.

80% of the available market isn't even sure they need what you are offering yet.

We source our own customers, by going to them and identfying a need or opportunity, rather than waiting for them to come to us.

It can take 6 months for client to reach a state of readiness, but we track our opportunities, and our pipeline is always full.

It comes down to - are you an 'order-taker' or an 'order-maker'?

let me put it another way - do you want to compete with 15 other quotes about whose prices are the best, or do you want a reasonable return for your effort?

And most of what I know I've learned from standing on the shoulders of giants, so why not share?
