Frankc
I have a active whmca account but want to setup whmcs for a reseller. Will make use of the whmcs reseller option but first wanted to setup and configure everything so I created a account (at whmcs) for the reseller and download the trial vesion. Eveything went well with the fresh install but now that I am finish (2 days later) and started to test the order link at the new install redirect to my OWN order pages??? I checked everything (including the database) and reuploaded the whole site and also clear my computer cache, cookies etc but still get the same problem. The admin section works fine and the installs is on different domains so I cannot understand why the orders redirect to my own. http://clients.hosting-experts.co.za/ but if clicked on the order button I am being redirected to http://www.online-billing.co.za (My own install)
Jordan
When I click on the order form I'm directed to https://clients.hosting-experts.co.za/cart.php. I don't go to any other domain... The only thing is that the header image changes to one that has online-billing.co.za, other than that it's still on hosting-experts. Have you just cleared out the template_c for you? Or.. something.. Otherwise I don't really see a problem? Other than the fact you edited a template and included an image from your other website.
Frankc
That is what I cannot understand because it seems to be on the hosting-experts domain but the card is those of the online-billing domain. (It's not only the header etc that change but the details is also those of online billing and not hosting-experts. - On hosting-experts there is ONLY a web hosting category) At the administration section for hosting experts I tried to switch between the different order forms but it don't have any effect. * Cleared the tempaltes_c folder * Reuploaded all files in root and templates and am positive that I uploaded everything else from the clean whmcs download. * Checked database and configuration files but there is no sign of online-billing anywhere. * I did a search for "online-billing" on the whole site but there is nothing. * Cleared computer cookies, cache and all internet files * Refresh and refresh If you click on other links it still stay on hosting-experts.co.za (you can see for example that the knowledgebase is empty as well as downloads while the server status also stay on hosting-experts (I changed the server status layout for online billing) Others like orders and client area change to online-billing. (I tested it and the connection is with the online-billing database, not with hosting-experts database) All that I can think is that some files are cached somewhere on my computer on the other hand if would be impossible for you to reach online-billing from hosting experts
Jordan
Sounds like you just have the wrong URL configured in your WHMCS admin. General Configuration > WHMCS system URL. As far as your other pages, those tie into your configuration's system URL. Chances are that you have it as the wrong URL. Look and see what you have.
Frankc
Nope, already checked that too. If that was wrong it would anyway also have influence on the admin area and things like the knowledgebase and not only to a few functions only. If wrong the URL would also show the incorrect url and not the correct url with incorrect content. Do WHMCS cached anything on the server except for the templates_c folder? (The hosting-experts.co.za account don't have any SSL installed while I use SSL on the online billing site. As you can see the redirection is to the online billing https) Something that could perhaps be the reason is that the IP addresses is the same (In the WHMCS client area the license for the trial version is also correctly clients.hosting-experts.co.za but with same IP address as online billing since it's on the same server)
DigitalEnigma
Hi Frank, If you have an SSL installed for http://www.online-billing.co.za this account should be on a unique IP, any account that does not have an SSL installed can share a different IP.
Frankc
I totally forgot about that yes. Moved the online-billing domain from other server and forget to give the domain his own IP. (I checked but it the ssl works fine) The server (and server ip) also have SSL so there is two ssl's for the same IP. Could be that the hosting-experts domain redirect to SSL and due to above messup ends at online-billing ssl. Will fix this and recheck ok thank you.
Frankc
Problem solved. General Configuration URL of the WHMCS installation for secure access, eg. https://www.yourdomain.com/members/ (leave blank for no SSL) I entered the https for hosting-experts and since there is no SSL installed for this domain it redirected to the online-billing.co.za SSL. (Orders, client area and support tickets would make use of SSL if installed, the others not and that is why some links seems to redirect and others not) Thanks for pointing the SSL issue out Neil. It also fixed the problem haha.
JasonO
I had a problem similar to this. One of our websites was allowed to share its SSL certificate on a very old host with mutliple accounts on it. This caused mayhem as anyone's https://domain.tld basiclly showed my website in SSL. A lot of annoyed customers of my host complained to me saying I hacked them hehe. I was going to suggest this to you, but glad you solved it anyway
Jordan
Did I not mention to check your URLs in the configuration earlier? *headdesk*
