Invoice date and due date

Currently WHMCS tries to capture payment when the invoice is created (in my case 5 days in advance of the due date). But what I want is for the invoice to be created and then capture the payment on the due date. Customers do not like paying days before it is due.  Is there a way to fix this? I have "Process Days Before Due" set to 0. But it still processes the payment on the invoice creation date.
