Gears
Hello, Is it possible to create a custom field for a hosting product/service named "Webmaster Username" or something similar? This way the customer can choose what they want their cpanel username to be instead of it automatically being the first 8 chars of the domain name.

generic
yes that would be something you add in as an "custom field" under manage products and services.
Gears
Yes but WHMCS will not create the cpanel account using the custom field, it will create the account using the first 8 chars of the domain. How can I make it so that the customer can choose their cpanel username?
generic
yes, without a feture request, you would have to copy and paste that value from the custom field before you created the account. you also should think abot making sure that name was not already used on the server somehow.
