How to detect the currently logged in user with OpenID Connect and Sub Accounts.

We are using WHMCS Single Sign-On (OpenID) system and are trying to implement a magic link functionality. We want to send a magic link email for a privileged action to the currently logged-in user not just the account holder. Is it possible to: 

  1.  Can you determine who logged in via SSO (e.g., a sub-user or contact) rather than defaulting to the primary account holder?
  2.  Emailing the Sub Account or Account Holder via the sendmail api
