CSS

Hi,

New to WHMC. Just started to dive in to customizing my templates.

Since my site utilizes CSS pretty extensively I started whipping WHM in to shape using similar styles. However, I didn't think about the " Powered by WHMCompleteSolution " line on the bottom. Since I can't place it in a tag it seems to always be pushing other content around.

The problem is much worse in FireFox then IE since it pays attention to the rules more.

I'm a newbie to web design but actually taking the time to learn the language. (no wysiwyg). So theres something simple I could be missing here.

Any ideas?

Thanks much.

Matt's charge to upgrade to unbranded is really very reasonable, so that would be one option (this is what we have on uberhost.net). I don't think the CSS for the "Powered by..." is available because then some clients might try setting the text and backgrounds alike to hide it.

Best of luck,

Rick

Matt has it excluded from the templates for the reason Uberhost mentioned. With CSS you'd be able to apply display: none which would remove it from the browser view (although it would still be in the source.)

Uberhost pretty much gave you the only option you have to resolve any kind of design issues the branded line gives you.

I certainly have no problems upgrading to an unbranded version. I'm just curious, has anyone had the same or similar problem? Did you solve it by an unbranded license?

Thanks

For us the sky became clearer, our complexion cleared up and the world just became a better place :D

I have seen where others have manipulated the branding by playing with the CSS and templates, but have no idea if removing it will solve your problems. If you are on a leased license, just upgrade to try?
