quickpot
My hosting plans are all month-to-month and was wondering which payment gateway will automatic rebill the customers every month without having the customer login and pay the invoice every 30 days. I don't think it's possible with 2Checkout, right? If so, I am thinking of using paypal subscriptions for this purpose but I was wondering if this subscription will work on non-paypal users that would like to straight up use a credit card to pay for it without having to sign up for an account. Will paypal automatically rebill the credit card even if the customer does not have a paypal login? Another question I have is... for those of you who have automatic rebill gateways, do you still generate an invoice and e-mail the user to pay for the invoice? Would that cause confusion for the customer? Thanks..
quickpot
Ok, I just found out that even paypal does not do an automatic. It has to e-mail the user to accept the sending of the payment which means its not a complete recurring billing after all. I know 2checkout has a recurring option but does it integrate with WHMCS? Concerned...

thebyp2
if you set it as a subscription then they just get an email each month to say they have paid.

So, will this subscriptioin system work for non-paypal users who just inputted their credit card info? And how do you handle whmcs invoices? Do you still send them one before due date to have them pay? There is no need for it since its automatic right? Thanks for your help bro.
thebyp2
honest answer. not quite sure how whmcs handles subscriptions. i know it can monitor them if the client is already set up, but as to creating them, well thats best for matt to answer. in regards to subscriptions, well, you have to be a registered paypal user for that, however paypal which just sign you up if your not regisered.
