Tickets - Invalid attachment index requested for deletion

We often have support requests submitted via email which contain many images as part of the signature like social media links and other crap. So when we process the ticket we generally edit the ticket to delete the unnecessary images.

Since upgrading, every time we try to do that we get an error as per below. Is anyone else experiencing this?

A quick solution to this issue would be:

  1. Filter out signature images automatically: Use email filters or rules to automatically exclude common signature images (e.g., social media icons) from being added to tickets.

  2. Check upgrade compatibility: The upgrade might have introduced a compatibility issue with your ticketing system’s image handling. Check with your IT or vendor support for any related patches or updates.

  3. Error log review: Investigate the error logs for specific clues about why the images are causing the error.

  4. Use an alternative method: If the issue persists, try deleting images through a different interface or by editing the email content before processing the ticket.
