SageStone
Hello, When I try to go ahead with creating a reseller account, I get an account failed message. However, with a normal account, everything goes smooth. The account is not at all created for a reseller account. I do get the following error in error_logs: Sat Feb 2 17:08:03 2008 notice [/usr/local/cpanel/Whostmgr/Resellers.pm]: _setupreseller called for a user that does not exist. (ACCTNAME) at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Logger.pm line 35 Cpanel::Logger::cplog('_setupreseller called for a user that does not exist. (ACCTNAME)', 'notice', '/usr/local/cpanel/Whostmgr/Resellers.pm', 1) called at /usr/local/cpanel/Whostmgr/Resellers.pm line 377 Whostmgr::Resellers::_setupreseller('ACCTNAME', 1) called at whostmgr/bin/whostmgr.pl line 5595 main::addres() called at whostmgr/bin/whostmgr.pl line 728 Does anyone know how to address this issue? I am using the root password instead of a cPanel Hash. Thank You, David
SageStone
Never mind, I have found the issue. For future reference, it was caused by the package attempting to allot an IP Address to the account, while none were open for use, thus ending in the account not being created. Thanks, David
PPH
Sounds like it was trying to upgrade an account to reseller as it states the user did not exist. Might want to drop a support ticket on this one unless someone else sees something obvious.
