Passing variable to the viewinvoice.tpl from gateway callback

Hi, I hope everyone is well, 

I am working on a custom merchant gateway, the callback script ends with 

callback3DSecureRedirect($invoiceIdWhmcs, $paymentSuccess);

So, the script ends with the function that I shared in the first entry.

But I want to send a third parameter for displaying to custom error messages but I couldn't find anything about this function in the documentation,

Also custom redirect didn't work.

 

Can you please tell me how can I achieve this behavior?
