Cheyne Unwin
Hi, I have an instance of WHMCS that is using the Synergy Wholesale plugin and have the following issue: When a new order is placed for web hosting the system contacts the servers and creates the service. The system then pulls in the service information from the Synergy server and links the 2. There are regular issues with this process and the read of the service info into WHMCS is regularly incomplete. The biggest issue is that the WHMCS system requires default name servers to be set and this overrides the information from Synergy who assigns the service to their servers through load balancing so almost every order has a different set of name servers. I have been told by Synergy and WHMCS that this issue could resolved by using a hook to retrieve the name servers and overwriting the default servers. I can't do this myself and am looking for a developer who can. Please post your experience with things like this and contact me to quote the cost to develop this item. Thanks
WhmTools
Hello, I'm really interested to help on this issue. Do you know weather the Synergy Wholesale plugin is encrypted? In Whmcs, there is a settings to set up default name servers, so Synergy is taking this name servers? The default name severs can be found in General Settings => Domains So I guess you have to override the default nameservers with a set of name servers you would like to use? I guess this should happen when the order is accepted, right? If so we can do that by using the hook https://developers.whmcs.com/hooks-reference/shopping-cart/#acceptorder Please send me a Private message and we can discuss further. We have experience in doing customisation like this Edited June 21 by WhmTools
