Deactivating the configurable option from the hosting package does not recalculate the order cost

Recommended Posts

What we have:

  • Hosting package with a set price of $5
  • Configurable option with a set cost of $10
  • The user purchased a hosting package with a configurable option.
  • Recurring monthly payment = $15

Problem:

If the Configurable option is unlinked from the hosting package, the cost of the user's order does not change

What we expect:

The user service cost should be $5.

Is this normal WHMCS behavior? maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Thank you.

How do you "unlink" the configurable option?
If the product allow upgrade/downgrade via configurable option, you can do upgrade/downgrade from the service and remove the configurable option.
Then, the recurring amount will adjust accordingly.

Not an expert but I hope that helps

Thanks for your reply,

How do you "unlink" the configurable option?

Unbinding the hosting package through the configurable options settings on the page /admin/configproductoptions.php?action=managegroup&id=52 in the "Assigned Products" window

From the user’s side, the process is clear, but I’m talking about unbinding the option from the administrator’s side. Each service must recalculate the cost of payment.
