247hosting.co.nz
Hi there, I have just finished the following http://www.247hosting.co.nz Thoughts?
amnesia
doesn't look finished. Just looks like you replaced the header and footer. Still looks like a standard whmcs in your client area. You should try adding more detail to make your site and whmcs unique.
urevised
Design looks simple. It all depends on what market you are trying to attract. If you are trying to attract 'techies' and developers then design doesn't matter too much. But if you are trying to attract your average user then 'eye candy' works well.
andymoo
You might want to consider moving away from image navigation, it's not good for getting search engine traffic. Textual links help win over the engines! You need to address consistency issues, one page says 99.7% uptime, another claims 99.9% - which is it to be? You've got to make sure all the pages on the site are singing the same song or customers will get confused, lose faith and abandon!
JasonO
Does the alt attribute in img html tags not get picked up by search engines if the image is a button? Since your site is mainly red based - I would change what's blue in WHMCS to a similar red.
andymoo
yeah they should see and understand the alt text but i don't think image navigation will compete as well against text links navigation.
JasonO
Well I would also suggest Text based buttons. You can achieve the same look with text as the images are not fancy gradients or rollovers.
