Virtuall
Hi Our WHMCS instal fell over at the weekend as a result of our Server Host making security updates to the Apache Server and PHP. The security update is apparrently recommended to combat recent Trojan and Virus releases. Part of the fix removes the dl() function from PHP calls which means Ioncube Loader no longer works. That means WHMCS no longer works...! I would suggest WHMCS users may want to check with their Server Host to determine if the security change is to be made to the server. We were lucky and identified the problem early and got a temporary reversal of the change. The permanent change will be made over the next week or so. I believe it is recommended for all Apache Servers. I have reported the problem to Matt via a Support Ticket. Oh - it also affects OSCommerce which I beleive will no longer work after the change. ckh
Just have your server host load the ioncube loaders in the php.ini file. Then you or any one else on the server won't need to deal with them at all.
