PayPal subscriptions are a pain in the a**. People forget they have them and forget they ordered a website and complain to paypal when payments are taken and then we potentially suffer chargebacks.
For this reason in my current system I cancelled all subscriptions and email invoices with paypal as an option for payment.
From reading various threads it appears this used to be an option with WHMCS but is no longer?
How can I simply take an instant payment via PayPal for new orders and invoice them when new payments are due?
Alternatively, will WHMCS email them warning that a PayPal subscription payment is going to fall due soon?
