Kayako Integration (when WHMCS/Kayako are on different servers)

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if the above is possible? i.e. We host our Kayako on a separate server to our Billing server... Can we integrate Kayako into WHMCS still? The instructions all seem to rely on you hosting it on the same server...

Thanks :)

From the modifications i've done to Kayako to work with WHMCS it appears as though the integration is essentially executing local commands to pull the information from Kayako.

Until each integration file is configured to curl (with the proper authentication) the information from Kayako on a remote server this isn't possible.

My understanding is that at in the very least my fixes will be included in an upcoming CVS build of support suite. Possibly the integration add-ons i've made as well.

A proper loginshare is also in the works so i've stopped working on integrating Kayako's email piping into WHMCS.

That's great news to hear. Hopefully your inclusions will be made. I know I'm asking a lot but could you update this thread if you notice your hooks included?

I'm still using the regular WHMCS Support Ticket system - which is working out actually pretty great, but the IR features in Kayako were a HUGE benefit as many questions were answered before we even got a ticket.

Fingers Crossed for a release shortly.
