Validation error on configuration field that's no longer present

Hi

I am currently experiencing a recurring validation error on guest checkout, that occurs when the user is signing up for a account and completing the order process.

A configuration field was previously assigned to this product, but this field has since been unassigned, and the validation error is still appearing saying its a invalid select box value. Template cache has been cleared also.

Anyone have any ideas?
