ZFS
Hello: I would so appreciate some feedback. I have read ALL the help topics for ENOM configuration on WHMCS (Enom - WHMCS Documentation; Configure the eNom Registrar | Getting Started | Guides & Tutorials (whmcs.com) , searched ENOM, called ENOM. My domain hoster included in our reseller acct WHMCS which is why I chose them, but wont support it and WHMCS says talk to them. I have attached a word file so you can see the order process and the log error. Using WHMCS: I created my own customer account using client portal. I can successfully search for domain names. Pricing shows up etc. I get invoice and order confirmations in my email. The charges are successfully processed. Transferring domain names is absolutely not working. I place the order in the front end WHMCS client portal. On the back end, within the view/client area, the domain name of my client order immediately shows up as Registrar Error: Domain Name NOT found...WHICH I found an answer for in the above documentation - basically have to wait. After waiting however nothing ever happens and ENOM never receives the order. However in the Module Queue, that is NOT the error, the error for any domain name that I have successfully unlocked from my previous registrar (Fatcow.com) and have the auth codes - the error in Utilities -> Module Queue in WHMCS is not "domain name not found" but "x Retry Response: An authorization key is reqiured for XXXX." However when placing the order, the order took fine and the auth key IS valid. I can take that same auth key and enter the transfer directly on ENOM and the order works. One domain that failed on WHMCS customer portal, I went to ENOM portal, used same Auth Code and its showing as Pending and ENOM representative, and in my portal - the order is reflected. It seems that WHMCS is not passing the auth key correctly or the transfer domain request as an order to ENOM. I have 5 personal domains so this is how I am testing before rolling this out to customers. I even went into ENOM and recreated the API and re-pasted into the ENOM config. I also have entered our dedicated IP into ENOM interface. I need this working and cant see to get anyone or find anywhere of how to solve... Really appreciate help here as I have a deadline to roll out this interface.
ZFS
Update. Finally figured this out. Posting solution to others who might struggle. I decided to refresh Domain Pricing. I noticed that ALL the check boxes for DNS Management, Email Forwarding, ID Protection and EPP code were unchecked for all the TLDs. I checked the box for EPP code. Worked. Wish that was in the help literature - I certainly didnt find any mention of it. So even though on the client side the order went through fine, the EPP blank was there, on the back end it was unable to process because of that check box - AND, unfortunately - despite how great WHMCS is - the error code didnt point me to where the error was. Hope this helps someone else.
