Configuring Office 365 email account in General Setting -> Mail Provider

Help!
I'm trying to configure my Mail Provider using an Office 365 email account. I have the following values:
Mail Provider: SMTP
Mail Encoding: 8bit
Service Provider: Generic
SMTP Host: smtp.office365.com
SMTP Port: 587
SMTP Authentication: Password
SMTP Username: support@abc.com
SMTP Password:  **********
SMTP SSL Type: TLS

I get "Validation Error: SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host." when I click "Test Configuration".
