FPForum
I am kind of curious what kind of promos some of you offer. This is a competitive market and we always see the "free domain" and "free month or two of hosting." But has anyone thought a little bit more outside the box? What other kind of cool promos get your customers attention and makes them want to give your hosting business a shot? Here are a few easy, free, promos I came up with myself..Always looking to build my list. *50 Free Directory Submissions (give them a promo code - and 50 hand submissions really does not take that long) *Free one way link(s) with purchase (you could give them a one way link on a resource page somewhere or on some other site of yours..never actually tried this one) Any other ideas?
railto
one i saw recently was get a free ipod when you sign up for a year, catchy but unless your yearly hosting is high enough to be able to cover the cost then its a sure fire way of getting into trouble
FPForum
one i saw recently was get a free ipod when you sign up for a year, catchy but unless your yearly hosting is high enough to be able to cover the cost then its a sure fire way of getting into trouble I also saw this ad somewhere. It's not bad if you have good money to invest. If you think about it...If 1 year cost 3/4 the price of the Ipod and someone signs up for 1yr..if they renenew for another you have now made the cost of the first ipod plus half the cost of a second..If they stay for 3 years now you've made over the cost of another..so on and so fourth. It's an excellent idea but how don't have that kind of investment money
