Incorrect: Admin Email Message Sending Failed - Email Template Disabled

Hi all,

I am testing a migration from WHMCS v6.x to WHMCS v7.x which is working for the most part so far. Though I am still running PHP 5.6 (for that I will have to get support in updating custom hooks/modules).

Anyways, I am using a custom email template for admin, called "Order Article Codes". This was done by a module/hook (which worked in WHMCS v6.x). The module itself seems to be working without issues in the admin section (under "Modules").
However the issue is, is that it's not sending that admin email template to me. I have enabled "$smtp_debug = true;" in the configuration.php file. But no information whatsoever. In the "Activity log" I did notice something weird: Admin Email Message Sending Failed - Email Template Disabled.

...but, this is not true! I have enabled that admin template and it even shows that it's activated?! See also included screenshot.

Anybody an idea where else I can look? I will look into the MySQL database.

Regards

//edit

In the MySQL database it also shows "disabled: 0", so in other words it's enabled. :S
Will keep searching in the meantime.
