Adding clients times out but still adds client.

So Im pretty new to WHMCS and it seems everything I try and do just plays up. 

I'll start a topic for each issue but this one relates to adding new clients.

If I try and add a client from the admin area, or if I do it as a test customer from the front end, when you submit the details it hangs for a while before giving a timeout. BUT, the client is added.  So if I was a customer I would have no idea that I had successfully signed up etc. 

Im not sure if it's because I've moved files outside the public_html directory but the fact I have, has been set up correctly and everything is pointing in the right place. 

Any ideas?
