Funds being added as credit on different currency

Hi there.

I have a problem with my whmcs when it comes to making payments using different amounts other than the default USD .

So let's say a client's currency is set to USD and they receive an invoice for $5 USD and they are in Zimbabwe and they use the local payment getaway which uses ZWL and then on the payment gateway the currency is converted at the current rate so meaning that in the geteway the $5 is converted to $81.90  whmcs will mark the payment paid but instead of allocating all the payment to the invoice it will take the $5 from the converted amount then put the remaining $76.90 as credit in USD when it was converted to ZWL by the payment gateway.

How can i fix this ?

Hello Everyone,

I’m currently facing an issue that seems to be similar to what others have experienced. My WHMCS system is set to use USD as the default currency, and I’m utilizing a payment gateway that converts USD to IDR for transactions. The payment process itself works flawlessly, but I’ve noticed an issue with the credit account balance.

The problem arises after the conversion from USD to IDR takes place. The converted IDR value is being incorrectly added as a USD value to the credit account. I’ve attempted to rectify this by modifying the variable in the call_back file, where the conversion occurs. My aim was to reset the variable to its original USD value after a successful payment.

Despite these efforts, the issue persists and the credit account still reflects the IDR value instead of the original USD amount. I would greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to resolve this.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Best regards,
