1 time setup fee

I must be missing something here but hes my problem

 

I am trying to add colocation to our billing

 

What i need to add is a 1 time setup fee to a monthly recurring billing cycle.

 

I can add a setup fee to it but i dont want the clients to be charged a setup fee every month just the 1st month.

 

I most probably am missing something obvious but can someone help me out.

Just use the Setup Fee in the recurring section. The fee is a one-time charge. The reason it has a field for Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annually, Annually, and Biennially is so that you can (optionally) reduce or drop the fee to entice customers to commit to longer terms. For instance, the one-time fee might be $50 based on a monthly contract, and perhaps free if they pay a year at a time. It's your choice. If you want it to be the same amount for any payment term, just put the same fee in each field.
