Incoming domain transfer parsing

Hi

When ordering an incoming domain transfer, e.g. 'www.example.com', WHMCS displays an error "You cannot transfer a domain that isn't registered".

When making the same order, but without 'www.', it works of course.

Is this a configuration error on our side? If yes, how to fix?

If no, WHMCS ought to parse all prepended text away when doing a "Register" and "Transfer", because customers do not know that entering 'www.example.com' and 'https://example.com' and 'https://www.example.com' are wrong and that they must only write 'example.com' when ordering a domain transfer to their account.
