I want to develop a payment gateway plug-in, but I found all the code in the gateway are encoded.

I want to develop a third-party payment gateway, but I found the payment code all are encoded.

 

 

I have some questions:

1.if I follow the Github example to develop the payment gateway, all are source code without encode, can I test it in WHMCS? (because the code put in the place all are encoded, I am, not sure whether it can run success)   

2.if can not run success source code, how can I develop it?  because I can not test the code.  

3. whether use ionCube to encode the codes?

Your modules do not need to be encoded for use with WHMCS. They can remain unencoded, and will operate as normal.

If you choose to encode your completed module using ionCube, then you are welcome to do so.
