rbro
Is the "My Hosting Packages" link in the client menu supposed to be replaced by the "My Products & Services" link, or are they both supposed to be there by default?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted November 30, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted November 30, 2007 They are both meant to be there - My Hosting Packages displays products that are shared, reseller or server products. My Products & Services displays products that are set to the type other. Matt
rbro
Thanks Matt. And if a client has one or more shared, reseller or server products set up i.e. "Hosting Accounts" , but no products set to the type "other" and they click on the "My Products & Services" link in the client menu, should the text there read: "No Hosting Accounts Setup"? I'm sure I can change that text somewhere, but I just want to know if that's the default text.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted November 30, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted November 30, 2007 That message probably could be better but it's because both lists use the same template file that it says that. "No Records Found" might be better as it's more generic. Matt
rbro
OK, but if I edit the English.txt file to say something like "No Records Found" (which I agree is clearer) will that also change the text for the "My Hosting Packages" page?
rbro
OK, I tested this and it seems ok. Please let me know if you think it will mess anything up. Here's what I changed: In lang/English.txt, it now says: $_LANG["clientareaproducts"] = "Other Products & Services"; $_LANG["clientareaproductsnone"] = "No Other Products/Services Ordered"; I think that's all I did and it seems a lot clearer to me. Hopefully it won't break anything?
rbro
Oh , this too: $_LANG["clientareahostingnone"] = "No Other Products/Services Found";
rbro
OK, yeah. I changed $_LANG["clientareahostingnone"] = "No Other Products/Services Found"; to $_LANG["clientareahostingnone"] = "No Records Found"; otherwise domain-only clients would get "No Other Products/Services" found when clicking on Hosting Packages.
