Helm Users

Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to implement whmcs with helm3 and there are a few things that seem awkward and I hoped other helm hosts could let me know how they deal with these things.

1. If you delete a client from whmcs it leaves orphaned users in helm. I would think if a client is removed it would remove everything for that client.

2. If a client sets up multiple sites. WHMCS creates separate users in helm rather than placing all of the sites under the same user. This seems that it would be a real pain since the user has to track multiple logins and there are duplicate users in helm.

3. If a customer is suspended for non payment, only the user account is suspended, the site is left active and still works. This doesn't seem right either. The site should be deactivated so that the users site and email stop working.

I'm just getting started so I'm sure there is more glitches with helm/whmcs so if there is anything else I need to watch out for, please let me know.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Brian

Hi Brian,

Did you manage to work this one out?

I have installed WHMCS last night and when I add a user & order in the admin area it creates it all in Helm find but when i delete the user I first get sent to the WHMCS login screen and the user still exists in Helm :(

Thanks

Aaron

I get logged out as well, I think that is a bug.

As for the account still being in helm, I guess this is the way it is designed to work. Here is the answer I got to a support ticket I opened on the issue.

You can terminate hosting accounts but terminating entire customers would be dangerous as they may have other accounts

What I have found is if you teminate the product from the client screen it does remove the account from helm (if I remember right) but if you delete the client and the products at the same time, it does not remove the info from helm.
