congkai
Cool, I am also interested in changing it. Which line is to change it?
Adam
Hey, You have to change the auto_increment value of id in the database tblclients to the number you want to start off with. Than any new clients from their on will get that client id + 1. From, Adam

PPH
i changed the client ID, and the domain registered to them is GONE... Did you edit the start # or a particular client id? You can't edit the client id without changing other references to it.
congkai
i edited the TBLCLIENTS and the ID table... just manually edit. *.. i did a mistake how to recover from it?
Adam
i edited the TBLCLIENTS and the ID table... just manually edit. ****.. i did a mistake how to recover from it? I suggest that you do not mess with that since it can cause problems with the database. You will need to fix what ever you did o the database or restore it from your daily backups (if you have them). Dominic
i edited the TBLCLIENTS and the ID table... just manually edit. ****.. i did a mistake how to recover from it? Well change it back to what it was before...look in the domain table for one of their domains, etc. There's really no reason to ever want to fiddle with client IDs
