Language in URL

I want to put the language within the url of all the links, I have this fine in v4 but in the six template all the menus are dynamically created.

 

My thoughts were to loop through the menu arrays via hooks replacing /whmcs/ (which is the folder I have whmcs actually installed into) with e.g. /en/ or /it/ depending on the language the client us currently using on the site but I am not sure of the code I need to do this.
