Get value back from Cart

Hello,

 

I am new on WHMCS and have a question. I want to add a select option on the configure Domain Site in the cart. That works with the ClientArea hook well (the hook send the select option to the tpl).

But how can I get the user selection of this select back? I have tried it with $_POST['NAME'] but I don't get a value. Has anybody a hint for me?
