Strange Characters in WHMCS Generated EMails after Upgrade

Hi,

 

Finally updated from WHMCS v6.3.1 to v7.0.2, had a load of problems but finally its up and running

 

However, the generated emails now have some funny characters in them. The system charset in WHMCS is set to "utf-8"

 

If I go into Setup -> Email Templates and check them in there, they look fine? But once emailed they are wrong.

 

 

Here is some examples :-

 

INVOICE DETAILS (WHMCS 6)

 

Invoice Number: 6010

Due Date: 05/12/2016

 

��INVOICE DETAILS�� (WHMCS 7)

 

Invoice Number: 6047

Due Date: 21/12/2016

 

---

 

Sub Total: £0.42GBP (WHMCS 6)

Credit: £0.00GBP

Total: £0.42GBP

 

 

Sub Total: ��1.00GBP (WHMCS 7)

Credit: ��0.00GBP

Total: ��1.00GBP

 

---

 

 

So in example two, the uk pound sign has gone wrong. In the first example, there isnt even anything supposed to be there?

 

 

Any thoughts?
