Paid Development needed for addition to licensing for SSO for apps, license-handling in client-area

Recommended Posts

Hi,

We're looking for a developer well-versed in creating modules, hooks and using the API for WHMCS billing system.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

Please state what you'd like to be paid, how, and how you plan to go about doing it and your reference as to how well you know this kind of custom work for WHMCS, with your estimate about the time-frame (and thereby ultimately cost).

BACKGROUND

The use of WHMCS will be for a web-service selling licenses of a teacher tool with student sub-licenses that should be administrable for the teacher, and with the software available in PC, Mac, iPhone and Android.

You'll likely set up a new or alter the existing license module which MUST handle Single Sign On from all those kinds of devices, and likely need to create a hook for creating multiple sub-licenses that should be "break-outable" for the student themselves once the course is finished.

The simple user-flow would be:

-Client-admin (likely Teacher) buys/creates an account for their organisation via the frontend in WHMCS

-The client-admin buys a package with e.g. 100 licenses to its organisation/students/other teachers.

-The client-admin MUST be able to add its own users, one-by-one like sub-accounts are now created in WHMCS, or preferrably uploaded via CSV via some tweak in the clientarea template. Either a password is generated for each user or you get an e-mail with a code that can be used to create a password.

-The client-admin MUST be able to issue (sub-)licenses to the users and/or remove them from a user.

-The clients MUST then be able to download the app, and SSO (Single Sign On) every user directly to WHMCS to check whether the user has a valid license or not.

This has to be handled for very many, at least hundreds of thousands of students, and in the not-so-distant future Millions.

-Furthermore, we'd need your help in setting it up for us in WHMCS configured together with a connection to the Stripe payment gateway like with https://marketplace.whmcs.com/product/506?

In the future, it might need to be further developed to handle Single-Sign-On via other Teacher platforms such as Learning Management System, Skolon, Edmodo, but WHMCS would still handle the License handling.
