darren.nolan
Hi, I've just noticed I'm unable to download PDF invoices while logging into whmcs/admin on https. I'm redirected to http : //***/dl.php?type=i&id=38 rather than https (attempts to change http to https in the url just redirects back to http) - the resulting page displays Access Denied. I'd really prefer to log into the admin section of WHMCS using a secure mode, but I know that downloading invoices works so long as I'm not logging in this way. Is there a proper way of logging into the admin area using secure methods rather than just changing my url? Cheers, Dazz
PPH
We do not have any problem with this. Always log in to admin with ssl and never get redirected. Must be a problem within your config. Might want to open a support ticket and have a support tech take a peek.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted November 12, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted November 12, 2007 Downloads from PHP can't be done over SSL so it has to be redirected to the non-secure version. You just need to make sure the domain you use for the secure and non-secure versions are the same so that the session isn't lost. Matt
