Realtime Registrar module is broken

Developers of their module, misinterpret the WHMCS domain setting "Disable Auto Renew". The experienced WHMCS users (or the less experienced after actually reading the documentation) know that this has nothing to do with the auto-renew function that some registrars offer in their domain manager. After Realtime register outsources development this bug has been present in their module, which causes their auto-renew to be set when WHMCS "Disable Auto Renew" is unset. The consequence is that when a client does not pay the (proforma) invoice, the domain is still renewed. WHMCS looses control because renewal can now be overridden by the registrar's auto-renew.

When I discovered that the Registrar auto-renew function was linked with WHMCS "Disable Auto Renew" I made the big mistake to check the box. From then on I was wondering why the domain renewals were no longer automatically invoiced. Then I discovered I needed to uncheck "Disable Auto Renew" again, so problem not solved because that reactivated the registrar's auto-renew again.

I tried to explain the problem in several bug-report emails back and forth. After months the bug is not fixed. I hope I don't need to develop my own module for this or may be I should find another registrar with better WHMCS support? Not looking forward to yet again transfer clients.
