WHMCS CEO Matt Posted August 9, 2006 WHMCS CEO Share Posted August 9, 2006 The first one - and the package name cannot contain any spaces (btw, only required for resellers - not if you own the server and use root login) Matt
taylorwilsdon
If its your server, you can just use whatever you please and itt'l set the account up just fine (if you are using root to access whm through whmcs)

Patty
I have 3 resellers account. Although the package names are the same, I have 3 different user names for each WHM. What to do in this case?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted September 10, 2006 WHMCS CEO Share Posted September 10, 2006 You need to have the packages setup for the server you are currently using for new accounts. Matt
MACscr
I think your just going to have to set them up like they are three different servers. Obvioulsy the attributes will be the same, except for the username and password (this is assuming your reseller accounts are on the same server).
Patty
Well, I use the 3 servers for new accounts, depending on the kind of service the client needs. But I do use all 3 of them constantly. Do I need to configure the packages 3 times, one for each server???
MACscr
No, this would be done with the server configuration area. When one reseller account is filled up, then it would move to the next reseller account. Matt: Would be really nice if we could do some type of rotation as an option for order filling as well.
Patty
No, this would be done with the server configuration area. When one reseller account is filled up, then it would move to the next reseller account. Then I wouldn't have the option to chose the server I want, I would have to wait until the default one is filled to go to the next one. Matt: Would be really nice if we could do some type of rotation as an option for order filling as well That could work for automatic sign ups. I'm not using that. I want to have the option to "Automatically create the account when you manually accept a pending order" and be able to chose then in which server I want to create the account. How can it be done?
