Processing $0.00 Orders Issue

Hi WHMCS,

 

This isn't a bug, but the functionality to apply a payment of $0.00 to an invoice isn't allowed since we've updated from WHMCS 5 -> 6.

 

In some instances users will order a service and we may simply want to supply it to them free of charge, we may then mark the amount as $0.00 and apply the payment of $0.00 to the invoice to process the order and complete it.

 

Setting the payment status as 'paid' doesn't do this.

 

Since upgrading to WHMCS we now have too:

 

1. Set the amount to .01

2. Apply the payment.

3. Delete the transaction for .01

4. Set the amount back to .00.
