WHMCS Not using WHM package feature list

I have a package with a modified feature list but when I create an account in WHMCS with the package name it says it is using the feature list but it is not what I created in WHM. When I go to the cPanel for the created account It has all the features.

I already submitted this bug two days ago to WHMCS. They replied to me yesterday with an email saying they are aware of the bug and have an open case #CORE-8927 with their developers to get fixed. They didn't give a time frame on when it will get fixed, but said check the changelog in upcoming releases.

As a workaround, if you login to your WHM >> Modify Accounts section, select the new cPanel account that was created, scroll to the bottom and click the save button it will save the cPanel account with the correct feature list applied. It's a bit redundant to do this, but it works until a fix is released. :)

Actually what it is doing is appending the client account username onto the package name even though that option is not selected in the module setting for that product. When I try your suggestion it pops up a window that asks if I want to create "package_name_username" or leave it "package_name (not recommended)" even though "package_name" is the package name.

I have to modify it under a different package name then back to "package_name" but your suggestion does sort of work...thanks
