sisgroup
what is RatePoint?
PPH
what is RatePoint? LOL, same question I had, and rather than follow their affiliate link, found http://ratepoint.com/ that describes the service and the partnership info. Not sure how this will tell your customers you are reputable though

ur
The Promo Code is valid through the link posted above until Dec 30th. The subscription is free for one year. Again, only through the above link, not RatePoint directly. If you want to offer this to your clients, you may also do so, however, they must validate and confirm their email and telephone.

LOL, same question I had, and rather than follow their affiliate link, found http://ratepoint.com/ that describes the service and the partnership info. Not sure how this will tell your customers you are reputable though RatePoint is trying to position themselves as a BBB alternative. Unlike the BBB where customers almost only log complaints, RatePoint's system is geared towards offering shoppers instant feedback via the badge url and with a primary focus on positive feedback. The system also allows you to manage disputes. You can all read more here: http://www.ratepoint.com/business/index.html Also, we are not an affiliate or reseller, but partner. Hence, we can offer 1 year free as well as ultra low pricing and bulk.

It is the first I have seen of them so far so they have a long way to go. Thanks for posting the partnership discount for WHMCS users though

Thanks for posting the partnership discount for WHMCS users though You are welcome! We have had good feedback from our own users thus far and it seems we see more and more sites with their badge. Also, for those that are not aware, RatePoint is founded and directed by the former GeoTrust people.

ur
Anyone who recently tried to activate their account in Canada should try again. There was an error on the live activation server which caused telephone numbers to come up invalid. Questions, PM me
MACscr
why does it say my renew cost is $74.95? what happened to $49.95
ur
why does it say my renew cost is $74.95? what happened to $49.95 If you sign up *before December 31st* and with promo code "WHMCS", renewal will be at 49.95. This rate will be locked in for as long as you maintain the account. Your first year is FREE.
ur
@MACscr.. did you still want to convert your users to the free 1 yr promo?
MACscr
Ur, I spoke with my sales manager about switching over our other account and he is going to look into it. As far as the $49.95 thing, i just signed up a new company and am going to use the 1 year free trial, will my renew rate still be $49.95 when i renew it next year? It doesnt appear so if you ask me and i did use you promo, but it still said 74.95 when the order was completed.
ur
Yes, as long as you have used the promo code you will *only* be billed $49.95, next year. Anyone not satisfied with the service may cancel before the 1 year free trial is up. The renewal invoice will be sent once you get within 30 days of your yearly subscription renewal. Also, as a note, the RatePoint API is not complete. Some of the messages that you may get when signing up with for this offer, are from the RatePoint system. At this time, we have no way to specify different pricing levels through their API, besides the basic functionality that was built. In the future, we anticipate building out everything to work with our WHMCS system, where you will be manage your discounted subscription to our RatePoint offer which you signed up for. I will, however, have someone make a change in the order form, noting the special promo terms. Should anyone have more questions, feel free to post or PM me.

railto
ok, i created an account with ratepoint, but using the site is unbearably slow, ive tried on several dates on different connections and its always slow, just to put that out there
ur
Ratepoint is slow? There sites pages are quite large, but the badges should be pretty quick since I believe they use a CDN. You can pm me a ping and trace and I can forward it to them, or you can also contact their support directly.
