Cart process in 6.1.1 has 2 to 3 minute delay after upgrade from 6.0.2

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problem on 6.1.1

Issue:

On Checkout page /cart.php?a=checkout when you complete the form and click on "Complete Order" the page hangs for at least 2 minutes before proceeding to the next step (be it ?a=fraudcheck or ?a=complete) - o loader no nothing just sits there. I can tell it's doing something from the web browsers loader spinning in the tab.

I can confirm this on two different installations both having the problem after updating from 6.0.2 to 6.1.1.

We completely did a delete of all files on our dev licensed WHMCS install and reinstalled so there were no addon modules and or additional hook files to test this 100% stock and still have the problem.

We have a support ticket open and have provided a server side 'strace' of the problem for whmcs support but they have been slow on ticket response lately, so I'm asking the community?

Has anyone else even tested there cart system after upgrading? We only found this because we are currently developing a new fraud prevention addon - which requires us to test thru use of the cart system. When we were testing on 6.0.2 we had no issues - orders processed as they should in a timely manner. Once we upgraded to 6.1.1 the 2 plus minute delay started (we originally thought this was something we did with our addon that caused this - turns out this is not the case after removing everything and refreshing to 100% stock 6.1.1)

We then tested on our live full licensed whmcs production install and it does the same thing 2 plus minute delay when you click on "Complete Order" button to finish the checkout process. NOT GOOD..

We've checked re-checked and triple checked everything server side and come up empty there as well...

I can hold out another couple days in hopes there is a solution found - but if I have to at least on the dev license go back to 6.0.2 which will require a complete db dump to do - we will as this has halted our development.

So again - has everyone checked there cart functionality (stock not a custom theme)?

Thank you in advance!

UPDATE!

After what seams to be about a month on debugging this issue here is the status:

In WHMCS v6.1.0 and 6.1.1 the order process has a delay of exactly 1 minute 31 seconds when timed by a stop watch

This was not a problem in v6.0 thru 6.0.2 (I don't know about 6.0.3, I have not tested that version)

This escalated thru WHMCS support from level Technical Analyst II to WHMCS Developers with no resolve!

I finally had no choice but to dump the 6.1.1 installation which was under a dev license and reinstalled a saved download version of 6.0.2 - after which the problem was gone and the order process proceeded in a timely manner (5 to 20 seconds)

However this does not solve the problem for 6.1.1 which our full license install is on and takes 1 minute 31 seconds to proceed with the next step in the order process when the "Complete order" button is pushed!

If your using 6.1.0 or 6.1.1 I recommend you check your order process "as I know most people do not after updating" - because WHMCS says this is not a problem with 6.1.0 or 6.1.1

I would appreciate it if someone could confirm there order process using 6.1.0 or 6.1.1 and time it

Thank you,
