WHOIS timeouts

Hi,

 

Is anyone else experiencing WHOIS timeouts?

 

i.e. in WHMCS Admin > Utilities > WHOIS Lookup (as well as the domain lookup tool on the order page), I get the following error:

 

There was a problem connecting to the domain registry. Please check port 43 is open in your servers firewall.

 

- Yes, port 43 is open on the firewall

- The same error is displayed, with the firewall completely disabled.

 

Running a traceroute from the server, I get the following:
