Confused by Pricing

I'm Canadian and I want to offer my hosting and domains in USD, CAD and GBP. I've setup the conversion rates in the Currency settings.

So now I go to pricing for individual products. Do I have to now manually convert all of my CAD prices into the other currencies in order to get them to display for customers? I don't understand what the point is in including the conversion rates in the currencies options if I'm still manually having to convert each product price into the various currencies every time I add a product.

Does that mean the currencies don't update daily based on current rates and so I have to manually change all my prices daily to reflect changes in conversion rates?

I feel like I'm missing something.

Thanks for your help.

You don't have to manually convert all of your CAD prices over. This can be done automatically, so can daily automatic price updates.

First, I recommend you force update your exchange rates. Do this by logging into the WHMCS admin area and navigating to: Setup -> Payments -> Currencies and hit the button: Update Exchange Rates.

Now, on the same page, hit the button: Update Product Prices. This will enable and automatically set the prices for any currencies you have added where your primary currency is enabled.

Now your prices should be set. But you want automatic exchange rate updating daily. So, whilst in your WHMCS admin area navigate to: Setup -> Automation Settings and tick both boxes:

-Exchange Rates (This will update your exchange rates daily)

-Product Prices (This will update your product prices daily according to those exchange rates).
